De challenge
Mediq has initiated a large consolidation program to enable its various business units to operate in a standardized manner. To facilitate this, Mediq's Global IT has established a new application landscape called 'Symphony,' which includes, among other things, a complex SAP implementation.
Mediq enlisted inQdo's assistance to manage all interfaces between SAP and existing as well as new applications (15 in total), using an advanced integration solution.
The solution
To successfully handle the interfaces, inQdo focused on three key areas:
- Establishment of the Integration Competence Center: for maintaining control over architecture and making sustainable choices.
- Design & development: approximately 120 interfaces were implemented to securely and controlledly exchange patient data, among other purposes.
- Management: the inQdo Operations team conducted daily management of the integration platform and information flows across the platform.
The result
Mediq successfully connected its various business units to their global infrastructure in four steps, with all integration challenges designed, implemented, and managed by inQdo.
