Pre:Invent 2026 at inQdo: Thursday, November 12 in Nieuwegein
Every year, right before AWS re:Invent kicks off, we open our doors to the AWS User Group Netherlands. We’re excited to welcome you back to our office this year for an evening packed with inspiring talks, insightful discussions, and the ultimate warm-up for re:Invent—whether you're heading to Las Vegas or tuning in from your desk. The event runs from 17:30 to 20:30: plenty of time to separate the hype from the facts.
Four speakers, four distinct stories
The schedule is tight and the lineup is diverse. Quincy Romero kicks things off with an AI Operations Agent—a trending topic we’re making practical and concrete. Dave Kuppers and Bas Hartman show you how to go from a standalone EC2 instance to a self-healing Kubernetes cluster. Next, Ben Buitendijk demonstrates how Poor Man’s Provisioned Concurrency works. Jair Josafath closes the talks with Lambda Durable Functions in Go. Each session lasts about 25 minutes: short enough to stay sharp, long enough to really dive deep.
Arrive, connect, and dive in
Doors open at 17:30—we'll take care of food and drinks. At 18:00, Laurens van Gunst will officially kick off the evening. There will be a short break between sessions, which is the perfect chance to chat directly with the speakers. After the final talk around 20:05, we’ll wrap up the evening with drinks and time to catch up.
Getting there
You’ll find inQdo at Coltbaan 1-19 in Nieuwegein. The venue is easily accessible by bus and tram, and free parking is available around the building.
